Art & Vases: A Journey of Limitation and Discovery
I once dreamed of creating monumental pottery, especially tall, large vases, but I lacked the traditional tools and studio setup. Instead of giving up, I chose to work within my limitations.
Through years of experimentation, I developed a signature mineral-clay blend. While air-dry clay presents unique challenges, I pioneered methods to achieve a level of finish and gloss usually reserved for kiln-fired ceramics. Each piece requires weeks of construction, refining, and hand-finishing. When a vase is finally complete, it carries more than just form—it carries fulfillment.

The Luminous Dream
Since childhood, I have been fascinated by objects that glow in the dark—watches, stars, and hidden lights. Today, I have found a way to infuse that wonder into my work. I am currently exploring techniques to make my art glow, fulfilling a lifelong dream of creating unique art pieces that live even in the dark.
These pieces are designed to serve as luxury corner decor, providing a soft, guiding light even when the room is silent and still. My goal is to see these sculptures in grand settings, such as large meeting rooms or gallery halls. I can imagine the impact of two 6-foot tall vases standing as focal points; when the lights are turned off for a presentation, the glow of the textures would beautify the entire space. It is about creating art that transforms a room and brings value to every hour of the day.

Designs are the heart of my work. I don’t just create pottery; I see each piece as a sculpted painting. Every piece tells a unique story through its organic texture, hand-applied color, and modern silhouette.

Art Beyond Clay: Reclaiming the Discarded
In addition to sculptural vases, I create unique mixed-media paintings on reclaimed foam boards—materials often discarded to pollute our planet.
While flying over the sea once, I imagined the water’s surface covered in the waste we casually throw away. That vision stayed with me. I now choose to give these brief-use materials a second life, transforming them into meaningful fine art prints and original wall decor that deserve a permanent space in our homes.
